Our Story
At Clennett Creations Photography, we believe the most precious memories deserve to be captured beautifully and preserved forever.
Having been together since we were teenagers, creativity and family have always been at the heart of our lives. Our journey into photography began long before Clennett Creations Photography was established in 2014. James first discovered his passion for photography while exploring the outdoors with his beloved Border Collie, Tan with camera in hand.
Meanwhile, Robyn was developing her artistic talents through portrait painting, even receiving recognition from international singer P!nk for her artwork.
Combining our creativity, passion and determination to build a life doing what we love, we turned our dream into a business dedicated to capturing life’s most meaningful moments.
Today, newborn and family photography are at the heart of everything we do. While James is behind the camera creating timeless images, Robyn specialises in newborn posing, settling little ones and bringing out natural smiles from even the shyest children.
Together, we work to create a relaxed and enjoyable experience for every family we photograph.
Since launching Clennett Creations Photography in 2014, we’ve had the privilege of photographing more than 1,000 babies and their families across West Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.
From tiny newborns just days old, to first birthdays and beyond. We’ve loved documenting each stage of childhood and creating memories that can be treasured for generations.
What we love most about our job, isn’t just creating beautiful photographs, it’s the relationships we build along the way. We’ve been lucky enough to watch babies grow into toddlers and welcome younger siblings into the family and share in so many special milestones. Many of the families we photograph return year after year for our seasonal mini sessions and some have become genuine friends along the journey.
Being trusted to capture such important moments in people’s lives is a privilege we never take for granted.
As parents to two wonderful boys ourselves, we know first-hand how quickly the days turn into years. That’s why we’re so passionate about capturing the moments that matter most, because today’s tiny details become tomorrow’s treasured memories.
